Horrible!
I found this...
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...threadid=35378
Why would they be selling these animals to various unknown people? Who knows what they will do with them? I have sent emails do various zoos to see if they will purchase some of these animals; and I hope they do!

If you read the posts near the end, it is obviously a joke. It was uncovered that the individual was "jerking their chains", but many of those fools took his claims seriously.
Amazing how oblivious people can be.

It's good to know that.
Too many pages to read. lol
But the sad thing is, is that people do sell such animals, and that's what my main point of this thread was - How horrible and completely wrong it is to sell such animals, that should stay in reserves, natural habitats, or zoos.

What is different between them and the animals we collect? Are they really any different? Many couldn't provide the best habitat for them, but is having them wrong, or the fact that some wouldn't care for them?

Do we really know what they're going to do with these animals?
The thing that really bothers me is the fact that some people wont care/wouldn't be able to care for them.

I think their is a HUGE difference between the two. The reptiles we keep are almost harmless (could inflict a bite) but the tiger could rip someone to shreds and get out into the city where it could possibly harm other people.
Now your all asking about big boids or venemous snakes, and in my opinion people should have to get a license to own retics, burms, rocks, crocs, or any venemous reptiles and other large snakes. Just my 2 cents

Its stupid because some of the stuff they put on there is on the endangered list.
There is a big difference between zoo animals and reptiles that we keep. Unless you think a snake and a giraffe are the same.
