Talking New KSB

Last sunday (5 days ago) I got my first snake, a roughly 12" kenyan sand boa. I fed her on monday 1 pinkie that was just wider than her body. For the most part she has been fairly relaxed and stayed under the substrate almost all the time. In fact until about 20 minutes ago I had never seen her fully body above the sand besides when I had taken her out. For the past 20 minutes she has been more active than I've seen her before. I assume shes just getting comfortable and starting to explore her environment a little more or hunting.

If anyone has any good advice for a new snake owner just let me know!
