New to this forum
Hi there.
I've been keeping snakes for about 7 years now I guess and am a complete addict. I love all reptiles buy my passion lies with snakes of varying types. My first snake was a Mexican Black King and as such they remain one of my favourites to this day. I'm active on the reptile forums of Alberta, Canada but haven't done a lot of posting on more general forums and so I thought I would start. I am the treasurer of The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society and have a small company called Next Morph Reptiles. I love meeting new people who are in the hobby and sharing and learning new information.
I look forward to being a part of the community!
Thanks,
Mandie

Re: New to this forum
Cool, what's bringing you to Alberta? And where?
Hope all of the pets you have will be allowed here as there are some differences!
Also, not rat breeding. :P

Re: New to this forum
im planning on moving to Calgary with any luck, im coming to do some pressure pipe welding at a refinery, but I need to get my B pressure ticket when I arrive so ill have to find work after I arrive. the pets make it so I cant work in camps, but here in BC there is nothing for welder and what there is, is just a huge rip off with never any benefits. I don't breed my own rats anyways, so looks like ill be shipping them all in :P that's going to suck to say the least lol

Re: New to this forum
Oh you don't have to ship in rats yourself.. you can still buy frozen rats here from people who buy in HUGE amounts.
It's just not as cheap as breeding them yourself, that's for sure.
What all do you keep, if you don't mind my asking?

Re: New to this forum
I have a pair of diamond pythons, pair of triple het for moonglow boas, granite carpet male and het female, pied male ball python, unfortunately 2 male womas I thought were a pair, jag albino carpet male and 3 female 50% het albino and I have a jag 66% het albino male I got in the package before I decided to get the actual jag albino for the breeding group. a pair hypo trans leather beardies and 1 normal female thrown into my order when I shipped them over from the states, a poecilotheria fasciata tarantula and a scolopendra gigantea centipede. phew that's looks like a lot lol oh and my mini pincher dog and my F6 Bengal leopard cat.

I traded it for the albino jag carpet, with a few other snakes I had.
