Profile: Sodalite

This week Living Gems profiles Sodalite. Sodalite was born in September 2010. She was acquired for her deep red color, as one of our foundation animals for that color group. We named Sodalite, as with all Living Gems females, after a semiprecious gemstone.

Here is Sodalite in January 2011, as she explores her arrival drawer, just after she arrived at Living Gems:

Here is Sodalite as of September 2012, on the occasion of her second (and a half) birthday:

Outside

Currently weighing 1099 grams, we expect September to join our breeder ranks for the 2015 season.

Thank you for reading,

I love these snakes. The iridescence is incredible in the 2nd picture.

Thank you all! Good eye on the side patterns, RBD. She's a really mellow, friendly animal as well, so I'm thrilled with her!
