Hello from Ontario!
Hello everyone!
I am new to this Forum, gathering information on Corn Snakes
Hoping to pick one up at the Kitchener Expo at the end of the month! Finally convinced the Boyfriend to let me get a snake. He was set on a Ball Python (as was I!) but after doing some more research I am leaning towards a Corn Snake.
Hoping to get the setup, or parts of it, this week!

Re: Hello from Ontario!
Welcome to the madhouse
I live 3 blocks from Bingeman Park. I will be at the expo as well. If you need someone to examine any potential purchases, I would be glad to assist. Have you considered other colubrids besides corns? There are many cool snakes out there other than Boas ,Balls and corns. Worth a look. Get your enclosure now. BUT. Buy a snake enclosure and not a cheap tank. Well worth it annd really not much more money. If you set your total budget you could buy everything at that expo. Again I would help you pick whats right and within your budget. Just let me know.

Re: Hello from Ontario!
Welcome, enjoy the expo and remember to buy only what you can house as soon as you get home . Corns are a great start to the hobby, they are very forgiving and tolerant of mistakes. Oh, and take Terr up on that offer, if they realize you aren't experienced, you may pay double! Don't be afraid to bargain with them.
Best of luck to you

Re: Hello from Ontario!
Hi and Welcome!
We are out in Caledon, also new here and will be out at that Expo also. We were on the fence for a while between a corn or BP. Settled on a BP for the relaxed nature and overall look.
Have found this to be a very welcoming, informative community! Enjoy.
(Terra, ok if I PM you at least to stop by and say hi at the Expo?)
