My first viv build

Built this myself, 6x3x2.5 feet. It's for my male boa.

Re: My first viv build

Thought I'd show you guys a few stages shots I have of the build.
I drew up a plan of what I wanted for the timber supplier and he cut and dry assembled it, made it easier have it pre drilled for me to put together on my own.

Then I put the front panels on.

Lighting and heating, with my DIY wire guards

Vents from eBay, 3 at each end

Finally got the glass, 6mm toughened.

Last step was to iron on the trim piece, and add the branch, the fake plant hides the chain I hung for extra support.

Re: My first viv build

I'm working on a 3d background so this was a small test piece before I try the big one.

Re: My first viv build

Looks great so far.
FYI I am married to a 100% Irish girl. My inlaws are from Belfast.
Moved to Canada in the 60's. We plan to visit either this summer or next.
Do you wear orange or green?
