Re: how to get a 8' cage home
I bet you got some interesting looks on the way home especially from some people who could only see the back of it as I am sure some would have thought it was a coffin at first glance

Re: how to get a 8' cage home
Oh man that must have been a sight. 100 miles is a long way to go with that strapped in the back. Good looking cage though. When I get my new AP T25, we will be picking it up in a pickup truck and I won't have to go nearly as far. Btw, what kind of snake is going in it?

Re: how to get a 8' cage home
I've hauled stuff similar when I had a smaller car. Gotta love the ingenuity and other ways we figure out how to haul stuff. At least yours is a hatch back. I only have a huge trunk but nothing I need to haul will fit in it.

The boyfriend and I have been seriously discussing trying to get a truck now. We need to get a couple of more things, then saving up for another ride. I used to have a truck, but as you know, stuff happens. And I've had hell hauling things since then.

Speaking of which, I was asked tonight why I keep snakes. I didn't realize how hard it was to explain to someone my reasons why. The rest of the world just doesn't get it. lol

I simply tell them it's just passion. Same passion a "car guy" has.
