Can baytril affect digestive system?

My BP has been gassy since she's been on baytril. Is that normal? She pooped twice since she's been on it. Both times the poop looked normal.

Today I gently massaged her belly a little bit and poop came out.

Any ideas?

Yes, it is an antibiotic so does have an effect on the microflora in their stomach. Should be back to normal soon.

I know antibiotics mess with my stomach every time so I was hoping that it was the same for her and nothing to worry about.

All antibiotics can. Antibiotics should be given along with probiotics.
