Re: White lipped pythons (albertisi)
Very nice, I would love to see some of these in the flesh (scales) as they look stunning in pictures which never do a snake justice so they must be jaw dropping right in front of you.

Great pair, I really want to get into these someday. They are stunning in person, especially as adults.

Re: White lipped pythons (albertisi)
good looking white lips pal
you just gotta love the way they, back themselves into a corner, then strike like a machine gun, while you try and get them out...
every white lip ive ever seen in the flesh was crazy viv defensive..
once out they were angels though, like they had split personalitys

yep the first thing they do is back right up into the corner to coil and lunge! very like my blue beauty but these are good when out!
i was surprised when i went to pick these up, helen let me handle her adult and he was good as gold, very inquisitive.
these are very very viv defensive and even attack the water spray! they were great when in RUBs but havent settled too well with the viv upgrade. its tough though they cant live in RUBs forever so better to get them used to vivs when little and fairly harmless!

its only ever been young hatchling and sub adult white lips ive seen in the flesh...
re tubs and viv's
maybe they are all viv defensive because all the extra space, maybe once they get a bit of size about them, they will calm down
re Helen
has she only got the 1 adult ?
how many white lips does she keep now ?
i know she had a lot of white lips at one point, but ive not spoke to her for a while,i loved the black phase white lips she had, they were really rare snakes here in the UK
i think it's a guy in Sweden or Norway, that produces the Southern Black Phase White Lips,he sells at the European shows
cheers shaun

i think they dont like the movement they can see through the glass in a viv, the tubs were slightly opaque so must have made them feel secure.
helens only got one male northern WLP now i believe, she has had to downsize her collection, im not sure what else she kept apart from the oksibil scrubby.
i would love to add a southern at some point, need to start going to the European shows i think! that said i choke ever so slightly when saying their names now that the tool hoser has named them after himself!
could of been worse i suppose and named after his dog!

Re: White lipped pythons (albertisi)
White lips are awesome snakes, one of the most beautiful iridescence on scales I think. Congrats!

Re: White lipped pythons (albertisi)
Very beautiful. I've almost jumped on them multiple times, but the significant other talked some sense into me since I am low on space and still have other projects (carpets/brb/bci) that need invested in before I get a pair. Next year!!
Does anybody know if Tom Keogan is attempting to produce any again this year?

Beautiful WLP! Mine can be funny as hell to watch when worked up. Mine will strike so hard and fast that he will lose he balance and fall of the perch.

Re: White lipped pythons (albertisi)
I've always like d'alberts. I'm more of a fan of the black phase though.
