Lampropeltic lunkhead!!

My lil mexican black has decided to start constricting his meals, but his coordination is waaaaaay off. Both last week and this week he was squeezing the heck out of air, his neck, or his own coils and just holding the pinkie in his mouth and biting it like crazy. Never did end up eating the pink.

Should I start to worry, or just give him a little more time to get a grip, so to speak? He's not lost any weight but as he's only 16 inches long I don't want to let things go too far. It's been 17 days since he last took a pinkie.

I don't know his exact age, about 3 months old. I've had him since 12/17 and he's had one pinkie every 4-7 days until last week, so lemme count on the calendar where I have his feeding log.

His last successful meal was on 1/10/03. He's taken 5 pinkies for me since I got him.
