Bulk rats?

I just recently moved to Havelock NC and I am trying to find a good place to buy frozen rats. I have thought about just ordering them from big apple but I don't like their size ratios. I have Athena feeding on small to medium rats between 70-100 grams. Does anyone know of any good places to order this size?

Re: Bulk rats?

I only have 1 snake and I still find it cheaper than buying rats in 2's and 3's from the LPS. Thanks for the sites.

Re: Bulk rats?

Maybe if you find some local people that keep snakes say advertise on craigslist or something and see if someone wants to go in on a bulk order that way everybody wins! Just a thought

Re: Bulk rats?

Laynelabs has the exact size you're looking for. Their Small/Medium feeder rats are 70-95g. I've not ordered rats, but just received some mice from them last week and was satisfied with the shipment. They also offer smaller size orders if you don't need a huge amount (but shipping still pretty much the same until you get to huge order sizes). I ordered 50 mice and instead of the $2 a piece I would have paid at the local store, I paid around 1.18 with shipping, so almost a 2 for 1. Of course that gets better the more you buy.
