Bookshelf to terrarium

So I think this would be just about the easiest way to make my own custom terrarium. Has anyone here done this? If so, what were the steps/tools/equipment required?

Re: Bookshelf to terrarium

This is a common means to creating terrarium.
Have you found a bookshelf?

In many cases all that's required is a drill, jigsaw, silicone, ventilation plastics, glass runners and the glass/plexiglass doors.

Heating requirements thereafter.

Re: Bookshelf to terrarium

Thanks. I have not found a bookshelf yet. I wanted to see if it would be cheaper to make one this way or just buy an Exoterra. The Exoterra would be bigger.
