Retic keeper..answer please

Ok so I have the burm and as youve seen in the post I just got the retic. My question is if I feed her on a schedule of every 5-7 days as a baby, an appropriate sized meal, what do you expect her growth rate to be and about what points will she hit rabbits?

thanks

Re: Retic keeper..answer please

Hard to say, depends on the size of the feeders and the snake's genetics. I would expect her to grow at least an inch a week, possibly 2-3. One of my burms has put on 3.5 feet in exactly 4 months, and now that she is just over 6 ft I am switching her to rabbits. I would probably switch a retic over once feeding XL/XXL rats don't seem to be leaving much of a bulge anymore.

I would switch it onto rabbits ASAP. I've had retics that would just not switch to rabbits no matter what techniques I tried so I've already switched my newest girl to rabbit pinks just so I don't have to worry about it later. She's only a month old also. Tiny.
