I've looked, mate. The thing is:
1) Google is somewhat helpful and Amazon gives you the "ratings" of books. But until you actually purchase it, you have no idea if it's going to be anything close to what you're looking for. Not to mention it takes about 1 month for anything to arrive to my place by post, even from the lower 48 states.
2) I live in backwoods Alaska, so we have no Borders or Barnes & Nobles etc to be able to check books out and see if they're any good. Infact, we are extremely lucky even to have a small library... but because there are no wild snakes in Alaska, this small library (which is more like the size of a bathroom) feels that it is pointless stocking any books on snakes... which is typical
So... having said that... I figured
somebody must have a decent book on snakes and/or burmese pythons that they'd be able to recommend. If not, that's fine...
