Wifey took me to a beer fest today for a very late b-day present (it was march 20th.) We had a blast and I had some great brews. Sampled all kinds of stuuff. Brain is a bit foggy but Southern Tier's Bourbon Barrel Aged Backburner Barleywine was awesome! Always been a fan of their stuff but that was superb! When wee got home we shared a North Coast Brewing Thelonious Monk abbey ale. She likes foo foo drinks so I finished her half. She is in bed but I'm reading/surfing the web. Its about time for bed but I figured I would share my good time first. Cheers to all! Have good times when you can and worry about headaches tomorrow! (still taking some ibuprofen before bed ha.)
Southern Tier is pretty decent stuff. Have you tried any of Founders brews? They are, in my opinion, the best brewery in the states right now. Have you tried any of the sour beers now that are becoming so popular? Rodenbach makes a beautiful one.
