what is the MINIMUN gap between tub and shelve i would need in my rack. right now there is about a 1/8 gap. i put the shelve right on the top of the tub (with lid on) then took the lid off. there is about.....

the size of that hash mark even smaller.
would that be little enough, or should i make smaller?
i only have 2 shelves put on, need to go get more wood so if i need to i can redo these 2 shelves.
The size of the gap is really dependent on the snakes going into the tubs. If you are placing young or baby corns in the tub you want the gap to be much tighter than if you where going to place an adult BP in the tub. I think most people use 1 or 2 CD's to gap the shelves though.
I used two cds when I built mine. One of my shelves still somehow came out too tight, but I'm too lazy to take it all apart (it's the 2nd from the bottom of course) to fix it.
lol i think these will be fine, i dont want tight tubs, and the snake room is secure, so IF i get an escapee, then i know to fix it. (no vents or anything they can get out of. )
