I heard from several people to put the female in first and then introduce the male.

I have done both. in my opinion it doesnt matter, Leo's always breed . however, i have noticed that when a female is introduced into the male territorie it is a much faster response. I think they are the easiest thing to breed and one of the funnest, if thats a word.

I asked Ron Tremper about this once and he said it's better to let the male establish territory and then introduce the female. If you do it the other way around females can get agressive. This might not always be the case but that's just what he said.
