Well was a good boy today
And did not get any new critters at the herp show I attended (well except for about 25 baby roaches but they were free). Of course, it helps that with my lack of space I have to be very choosy with what I get. And a dearth of funds further restricts my options.
Lots of neat critters though. Did see lots of monitors (no savs); an adult pair of BTS for $300; lots of Ts, chams, pdfs, various geks, & ball pythons. Even saw a snake for $5K (almost burst out laughing -- there isn't any animal worth that much to me). Surprisingly (to me) there really wasn't a tremendous variety of corns or milks present.

Yep, once a month.
Guess that depends on what one considers "not much." There is some fluctuation as to which vendors and how many are there. This time there were: at least 4 vendors primarily T oriented (with a couple others who had a real mix of herps and inverts); centipedes; scorpions (mostly emps but some fat-tails and others); isopods; vinegaroons (Uropygids); BTS (though only the one large pair); red-eyed croc skinks; anoles; ameivas; monitors (though no savs); tortoises; chameleons (not as many as the Jan. show); pdfs & other frogs; geckos -- mostly cresties this time but some others as well; lots of balls; a couple GTPs; some rainbows; few sandboas (saw more at the Jan show); a green anaconda; corns and milks (though not as great a variety as I saw at one of the fall shows); hairless rats; guinea pigs (don't usually see those); pygmy hedgehogs; and one savannah cat. Couple shows ago someone had fox kits -- adorable little suckers, and someone else had Amblypygids.

I will admit to being tempted by a few things like the red-eyed crocodile skinks, & ameivas but without having any idea as to their needs picking one up seemed unwise.

Re: Well was a good boy today
if I find red eyed croc skinks at a show I WILL bring one or two home, I need to do some more research on em first.

Im right there with you. Lack of space and lack of funds plus Lauras "We have enough snakes" mantra further contributes to all that as well.

Re: Well was a good boy today
Forgot to include in the list of what was there this last time: cwd, uromastyx, and some baby frilled lizards (really sweet pattern on them as babies).
