GAHHH! got mites for the first time....

Grrr.. as the title says... my new female blood has mites... was so happy because i was gonna start handling today just a little... male was fine a little jump but no strike attempts

then i look into to see the female and i notice shes going into shed then im like cool leave her alone and as im putting back on the lid I notice little black dots moving on here.... mites.... now I am just not happy... jeez... wheres my PAM...

Thank god for quarantining...

bummer. Still it's not the end of the world. PAM seems to make it pretty easy.

Just be happy you did quarantine! So many people skip that step and it's really sad to see them risk all their other snakes.

ahhh after... almost 3 hours I am done my cleaning die mites die!*evil laugh* ended up using Nix, my buddy has used PAM before so I thought I would give Nix a try so we can compare later on. The only mites I actually saw were on the one snake... still treated them all just to be sure, they are all on paper towel and have been well sprayed with diluted Nix(1 bottle to 4L of water) and I will be giving them back their water tomorrow
