If so then good luck and dont forget the pics!!!

Re: i may be getting an anaconda...

i will wish you good luck sir if you decide to take it on, i picked one up before xmas and he was a bit of a lunatic... i had to change my whole approach to how i go about touching, moving and handling my guy compared to how i approach and work with all my other snakes...

i would advise going to meet this snake or other condas if possible or you will end up like me, losing alot of blood lol. i thought my yellow would have prepared me but clearly not.

thats not to say it wont be a nice snake just be very aware of how quick they can be to bite with showing no warning signs whatsoever...

Goodluck.... If having a "tame" snake is important to you, then from what I've been told you may be disappointed... Pics if you do get him tho

Re: i may be getting an anaconda...

Make sure it is infact a male. There is a HUGE size difference between male and female. Other than that meeting it first is good advice to see how "tame" it really is since they can be agressive snakes.

Re: i may be getting an anaconda...

looks like a nice conda there mate, i would go for a wee handling session with it before comitting to taking it. if its as calm as he says it is the guy shouldnt mind.

just remember these guys can bend their heads 90 degrees either side so can pretty much tag you from any angle lol... makes things quite interesting...

Re: i may be getting an anaconda...

There's a lot of people out there that are just trying to unload an aggressive/defensive animal... Careful.
