Transporting BRB question

Hi, I am getting a Brazilian Rainbow Boa in a little over a week and the closest reptile shop that has them is 2 and a half hours away. I was wondering what is the best way to keep him/her safe and happy on the ride home. It will be a baby by the way

Re: Transporting BRB question

Put it in a pillowcase, and place that in a padded box. DON'T leave the box in direct sunlight in the car. Try not to blast the AC.
Try to include some tissue paper in the bag so that if he dumps, it soaks up some of the mess.

No AC in my car so no worries there lol. Thanks for the advice! Sounds simple enough I have tons of extra boxes lying around I think that will be the route I will go.

Re: Transporting BRB question

A little tub is fine... keep them warm but not hot and youll have your new friend home n happy in no time. I tend to give the paper towels a lightning spray to stop brb's dehydrating when being transported.. good luck
