Re: this might be my new boa!!

i'm happy for you mate

i'm not up on my boa's and don't know what a plasma boa looks like, could you post some pictures please ?

on a uk forum i saw a picture of a boa litter containing a hatchling the guy reffered to as a super.

it was an all black boa with no pattern i could see from the picture (no rugby jokes folks ) and it looked amazing

congratulations on fitting another quality snake into your collection

cheers shaun

Re: this might be my new boa!!

i wont be getting a het plasma or a plasma to produce any, this is a plasma, which i dont think is much to look at, just different , but thats just me, this is what im really wanting to produce, bloody motleys and hypo bloody motleys, coral albino x blood or bloody salmon, i dont think has ever been done yet, i seen pics of a sharp albinox bloody slamon and it was Sick looking! i bet the coral with the blood would make some seriosly red snakes. oh i just sent the $ snake is supposed to arrive weds at 5 pm!! OH SWEETTTTT!!!!.

Re: this might be my new boa!!

we were talking about that, thats is what i read, im told its alot of old info, supposedly, from line breeding like crazy, the gene weak, now its could be getting stronger and as a result they are ageing past a year, keep in mind for years they were dieing instantly as they broke the egg, then a few days, then a few months.. plausible is all i could think.

Re: this might be my new boa!!

Is it just me or does anyone else also thinks that it is just wrong to keep breeding all sorts of combos just to get the right color despite of all the animals dying in the process? It seems to be all about who has the rarest snake rather than who has the healthiest and longest living snake.

Re: this might be my new boa!!

It tends to be about both.. I mean who would post pics and posts on here of an unhealthy animal.. But it is nice to say youve got something that not everyone else has got. To me the most important aspect is how we view our pets, and theyre all special and rare to us.

Re: this might be my new boa!!

Even if they are living a little longer its no way im going to put that much money in them until everything is worked out and they can live as long as normal boas. Supers are reallly really nice....did you see Jeremy Stone's white snake its part of his Princess Diamond project.
