Re: Advice ?

why would you want to speed up the shed process? with the right humidity they will get the job done themselves. food and water usually keeps animals alive also.

How? jk, that made me laugh though.

To the o.p it seems like you bought a live rat to feed, but you snakes in shed and won't take it. As tea mentioned food and water may do the trick, or knock it out and freeze it for a later day.

If the snake has not begun to shed, you cannot speed up the process. The best thing to do is to leave the snake alone. If the snake has stuck shed, you can up the humidity. Other than that, take note that your snake doesn't eat during its shed cycle and don't buy live food during that time.

Re: Advice ?

And dont feed live rats to corns - pretty much a sure way to get teh snake killed. Corns are perfectly healthy on mice for their entire life and i havent really heardd of anyone not being able to get their corn to take f/t

Re: Advice ?

My corn cyril will take anything. Hes only ever missed one feed because of being in shed... He'll rake it hot or cold, moving on tweezers or left for him to find. Munch machine
