Im new here, looking to learn more about snakes and other reptiles.
I am a feeder breeder and I am here to learn more about snakes and how their owners care for them. I want to provide the best for the people I sell to and their pets. I care greatly for my mice and while it is a business its also a hobby Ive enjoyed since I got my first pet mice as a kid. Of course I didnt breed back then but my love for mice grew instantly! I mostly breed for color but I also raise plenty of feeders. I specialize in Satins, Tans, Brindles, and Merles (All types). I do have a gray treefrog I found last october. I mostly feed him flies and crickets. I dont know if he can handle pinkies. I believe a female treefrog could since they are bigger. Anyone know if pinkies would be safe for him? Other than that I had a painted turtle as a kid. I have caught many snakes but never kept 1 as a pet. Mostly I just dont know enough about them but I do favor mice and their variety of colors.

Re: Im new here, looking to learn more about snakes and other reptiles.
I used to breed mice a long while ago as well as rescue rats from people who couldn't care for them or got them as food for a snake who wouldn't eat it. I was very small time though only having one breeding pair of mice. Maybe you can help me with a question I have long time asked but never gotten an answer for with my female mouse I had...
She was the color of a chocolate chip cookie all the way to the brown/black spots that speckled her fur. I have never seen another mouse like her...do you have any idea of "breed' of mouse that she was? Or is there just not a name for it in general?
