Mice

Does anyone out there breed mice for feeding? And how do u do it and how do u keep them when u have too many?

we are keeping a few mice, mainly for the live pinkies and fuzzies to feed to our viper boas, but the corns are benefitting because we have some freshly frozen/thawed because the mice are popping out more then the viperboas can eat before they're full sized (liters of about 12-14) our breeding group is 0.3 right now but we bought the mice pregnant so that's not an issue yet.

so do kill the mice before u freeze them or do u just put them in the freezer??

While some people may choose to put live mice directly into the freezer, it cannot be considered humane. Either using CO2 gas or killing rodents by breaking the neck or a stunning blow to the head is preferable before freezing mice.
