Re: breeding my snakes
Chances are decent IF they are both breeding size and age, an you know what you are doing. That being said cross breeding isn't advised, not only do you have a ridiculously high chance of slugs and stillborns but its hard to sell crosses. our retic/burm bateater clutch ha 20+ slugs 5+ stillborns and 3 fertile only 2 of which survived.

I wasn't planning on breeding my burm to my retic. I had a nice lav albino tiger picked out for the retic so i had cooled him for about 3 weeks, tossed him in with the lav and nothing so i put him back in his viv (it was pitch black and i didnt want to turn on the lights and wake the dog) turns out i tossed him in with the burm and the next morning i come downstairs to see them locked up.
Bat-eaters are beautiful, but i cant see myself doing it again.

Re: breeding my snakes
WHAT THE F! You can cross breed species???? Besides the high chance of slugs/stillborns being a disadvantage what else is there? What are the rules? Any python to python, boa to boa??

Re: breeding my snakes
Please don't crossbreed.. If you want to breed either breed same species or morphs, much more rewarding and you'll have animals people actually desire.

Re: breeding my snakes
Anyone know the "rules" on coastals x bredli? i've heard bredli recently broke away from the pack with some sort of scale count but I can't find an article.
