here's another-i don't have any recent pictures.The one thing i learned is that forced handling takes away from positive interaction with this shy species.Interaction must be on their terms-and a lot of bribery with food

Thanks,they are an awesome species,not for everyone.Since they were babies i gave them lots of hides-and i refused to handle them.The pictures you see was when i had to remove the lizards because i had a cricket problem.Good conditions for monitors are good for breeding crickets-and pinheads were ignored by the monitors till they were of sufficient size,but i think that the crickets caused the monitors stress-just from their activity,there was no evidence the crickets ate the monitors LOL.But handling them undid the trust i was getting from them-so hence i find it difficult to get more pictures.But i am building the adult cage,and will post more pic's as i gain their trust again.

wow those are sweet lookin. id love to have one but recently found out I have a baby on the way and with two dogs a cat three birds and my retic Enki. My lady has put a hold on any new pets lol won't last long lol
