My first veiled

Hello all,
I acquired my first veiled chameleon last June, Lewis was a little wee baby then about the size of my thumb and is growing well on a diet of crickets, grasshoppers and houseflies. he's cantankerous as hell but getting better with my handling, which I keep to a minimum as everyone says they do not tolerate it well.
If anyone has input regarding optimal care for the first year, please share! I think we're doing ok, but one can always learn more.
