My fiance and i currently have two Ball Pythons, we enjoy both of them and are thinking of adding a larger snake to the family. So, my question to you guys is Boa or Python and what kind. We would prefer a species known to have a good temperment as well as being beautiful. Any help will be really appreciated!

How about giving us a list of species you are considering? There's a snake that's right for you but you need to also make sure it's the right choice.
If you want something longer then maybe a BCI is a good choice. Something wider than your balls would be the bloods/borneos. Slender but long could be a coastal carpet python.
I would suggest a Bci since you already have two ball pythons. There are so many designer morphs of boa keep kick in every year. Some of them will grow larger than the others. After many years of ownig ball pythons. I have just got a pair of guatemalan boas. Very interesting little guy.
Both are great snakes IMO. The carpet pythons tend to be more active snakes. They will also get long and impressive, but not nearly as heavy-bodied as BCI. Both are generally (and remember there are always exceptions!) docile snakes. I have several carpets and a BCI and they're all great. Really it depends on your personal preference IMHO. Best of luck deciding on your new addition!
