taillesswhipscorpion.jpgOk, I couldn't figure out where this thread would best fit, but I want to share my newest acquisitions with everybody.
I got two cave spiders (tailless whip scorpions) at Hamburg this past weekend, and they are awesome. They look like alien life forms, and are quite docile and handleable. They are actually neither spiders nor scorpions, but are their own genus of arachnid- Amblypigidae. I first saw one in the Harry Potter movies, when an evil spell was cast on it. When I found out they were actually real creatures, I knew I had to have one. They are soo amazing, and quite easy to care for. Just give them a vertically-oriented cage and some stuff to climb on and keep them moist and cool (68-75 degrees).
