Hi guys i need help with my ball python

I was wondering how do i keep about 80 to 100% humidity in a terranium..it seems kind of dry for my ball because his body shed came off in pieces and from about his neck up he is still shedding. It has been taking awhile for him to shed from his neck up. Advice would be great guys..im still learning and understanding these great reptiles.

Re: Hi guys i need help with my ball python

If you would describe your set-up, we can help you figure out how to bring up the humidity better. Right off the top of my head, without knowing what you have, and especially if his eyecaps didn't come off in the shed, get a burlap bag or a pillowcase, soak it in water, wring it out, and put him in it for a few hours. The dampness will help loosen the stuck skin, and the roughness of the burlap (if you can get it) or just rubbing against the pillowcase will help bring it off.

One way to increase the humidity is to get some long-fiber sphagnum peat moss, soak it in water, squeeze it out until it's just damp, and put it in one of your BP's hides.

Give us some more details about your husbandry, though, so we can give you ideas that are really useful and healthy for your snake.
