Ok im really a noob but i was just wondering if boas were venomous because i was looking at them closely and they have the pointed head slitted eyes and that wat you look for mostly n snakes to see if there venomous.
What about the coral snake? It has a round head and is venomous.
Don't fret about those things. A lot of snakes have similar looks to a venomous species. Some even imitate them by rattling their tails just like a rattlesnake. I've seen baby bullsnakes do it. In the wild when the tail hits the leaf litter at a fast pace it sounds similar to a rattlesnake, thus predators don't want to mess with them. Just a type of defense. Boas are safe.
