I would love to set up a lobster roach colony but being winter and all, few hobbyists will ship. I am in South East Saskatchewan and We have 1 very poor pet store. Is there a way to get these guys? Or is there a chance that Regina has a herp club that I may make a trip to pick some up there? Any help is very appreciated thanks.
I'd ship some but I dont think they'd cross the border. Try eBay. I've seen some from time to time on eBay. You might want to look into dubias though. I have both and haven't had problems but alot of people prefer the latter because they can't climb glass. I keep my lobsters in a plastic critter cage with a fat swab of vasoline that I barely refresh and haven't had any problems but I also keep a lot of eggrate in the middle and food in there. They generally stay out of the light so even when I go to grab a few they rarely try to scurry up the sides but I wanted to warn you in case you weren't aware. There are a few US stores that sell but I dont know the policy of int'l shipping. Try wormman.com for starters.
