Lightbulb Screen/Glass Cage Lid

I have heard of this type of terrarium lid that is a screen on one half and glass, plastic, pexiglass, or what every material it is on the other side. I think that this might help keep and raise the humidity in my ball pythons terrarium. Please someone help me... where can i find one!!!!!!!!!

You may be able to find a top like that at a local reptile shop otherwise it's the internet. You can do a google search or try:
Kingsnake.com Classifieds > Cages, Aquariums, & Terrariums

Good luck in your search

I've made tops like that before.....but never seen them sold. (not that I was really looking) At anyrate it isn't hard to get a scap of plexi and cut it to fit half your tank.

Re: Screen/Glass Cage Lid

Pretty simple man, measure the opening that you want to cover. get a piece of Acrylic, Lucite, or plexi-glass. Depending on the thickness you can either cut it with a scoring tool or a jigsaw... 1/8" is easily cut with a scoring tool, 1/4" can be depending on the material.

At anyrate then you just attach it over the lid....you can silcone it...or drill a couple holes in the plexi and attach it with zip-ties.

Hope that helps.
