My Newest Python Regis (BP)

I put my BP back into the tank today, went for lunch in the kitchen, and when I came back he was in this position for hours, just like he was checking out his area!
He's completely covering the thermometer, coiled around both, about 9-10 inches high!

Also, here's a quickie that I'm proud of; the guy I got this BP from told me that they don't like to eat right away after being introduced to a new tank, but he took it anyway. He was scared (Balled up, er go the name), then popped his head up and struck! Took him about ten minutes to find the head though!
In case you can't tell, I love herpetology!

Nice looking regius. One word of advice though, since your ball python doesn't live 10 inches above the floor of his enclosure, I can't see why your thermometer is that high. Get it down low where your snake lives, that way, you can better monitor the husbandry.
