selling snakes

I was wondering if I need a small buisness license or file paperwork of my income to the IRS? or can I sell my snakes for $50 around my town?

As far as i know you don't need to be license or do any paper work if you make under a $15,000 i think.but check with you tax man he will know what the amount is

I got a friend that makes around $1500-2000 a week selling snakes and he doesn't have a license, but then again with that much sales you probably should and it'll be worth the investment. If you have a shop you definitely should have one, but just for a couple bucks to friends it doesn't matter much, so many people do it that it's not really worth investigating.
