Poor mans leachie.....
this is my all time favorite large aerborial. He is full of personality and is totally handleable. Got him a young girlfriend growing out and can't wait to have babies from him!
G. Vorax if you were wondering.

I haven't found a whole lot of information on these guys, but I think the average male is 11-14" with the females being slightly smaller. I keep them similar to cresteds and gargoyles, same diet and enclosure. The only difference is that I do have UV atop the vorax as I haven't found the info on MBD in them.

this is my newly aquired female vorax. She is approx. 8" total length, and is friendly as well. I am not too sure on thier true temperments, but from what I have seen, these guys seem fine and comparable to the other Rhacs.

Looking Good
Thats a really good looking Gehyra Vorax and 14 inches, wow.
My largets one was a little over 12 inches but it was a little heavier looking than yours. I love these little guys they have so much personality and their size is hard to find in the gecko world.
I used to have a 4.4.0 of these great little guys till I developed my health problems and had to sell them. Good luck with breeding him it can be fun.

Those things rock, man! I want to get one someday. How's it's temperment? I heard they don't like to be handled that much and are pretty fiesty compared to leachies. What's a good size cage for a gecko like that? Thanks

Very interesting, this is the first time I have seen a picture of vorax. Can you post a full body shot if you have time, Beth? Thanks!
