Thanks she should be ready to breed next year. I can't wait to see what we get out of her, especially if we can either find a male that looks like her.

Awesome find!!

Amazing! I usually like extremely light and clean specimens but that is amazing as well!

That is one of the plans we have for her. The other is to see if her color is genetic.

Thanks. The funny thing is she was sold to us as a male. We had no idea that we had a female for the longest time. A few weeks ago I was talking to someone who has one that kinda looks like her and realized that we never probed "him". Needless to say we were really excited when we found out he was a she.

How much do you know of this snakes parentage?
Is she pure Bci or is there perhaps some Bco in her background?
She is a beauty indeed, but she does bear some resemblance to an Argentinean boa, with her blackish hue and orange highlights.
An 'HD' boa, a possible new morph in the works?
Now thats tripled her value I guarantee!

We got her along with one of her sibs who is a super light colored very clean looking columbian. Here is an older pic of her. She is blue in the pic and of course she is in shed right now. Once she is done I will post some new ones.

We have run across a couple pictures of others that look like her but noone has produced any offspring that we know of. We hope that its a new genetic trait that will turn into something new but there are also other plans for her if that doesn't work out.
We have recieved offers from people that want buy her and as odd as it sounds we are getting emails from people who want to be put on a list for babies when she produces them, especially if they look like her.

she looks like a mexican boa, very dark and has the same markings. A guy named Lostwithin has an identical boa thats super dark. Or it could be argentinean, but personally it looks like a mexican.

Mexicans tend to be lighter and if that was the case how would you explain her sib?

Siblings can vary a great deal in appearance as we all know.
'Normals', sunglows, salmons and albinos, for instance, from one litter.
It all depends on the parentage and their genetic make up.
