Albigs have two hot and 2 cool seasons, and when the air pressure drops or it cools, they can be triggered to breed. They usually breed August-sept. but as I said, sometimes the weather triggers a breeding response....love that maple syrup! Give those males some mirrors in their cage and they will act like teenagers flexing their muscles = "yeah, I am tough, I am buff, I am Leguaan!" kind of attitude! haha.
Males and females go through a series of behavior and wrestling, first the males, then the females, then male-female and walla! Mating!
Kinda like a high school dance floor scenario, sizing each other up for the girls, and visa-versa....its great to watch them..
