Kerosene heat

Hi everyone,

I was thinking the other day about using a kerosene heater to heat my snake room. Cheaper and more efficient then the hydro I think. My question is what is everyones thoughts on my idea.
Is it safe to use, "fume" wise. I'd take all the precautions and make sure nothing was near it to start a fire. My only concern is the fumes.

Many thanks in advance.

The fumes would definately be bad. Humans have to use them in a well ventilated area, so I imagine the same would go for herps.
Not to mention it would lower the air quality drastically as it would burn off the oxygen in the air. Bad idea I think.
Hope this helps.
Hump.
