Special Announcement From Capital Dragons

[Capital Dragons]

Hi everyone,



Capital Dragons has found a new home. It has been a very hard decision to make but it was a necessary one. As many of you already know I am a single father with a full time day job. I started the business side of my hobby while I had joint custody of my eight year old little girl. However during the past year I was awarded full custody of my daughter.



Over this past year I have worked endlessly trying to maintain my home, raise my little girl, work a day job while running and maintaining the dragon business. I decided that I needed to devote my attention to my little girl.



We have now finalized the sale of the business and the dragons have gone to a fantastic person, Sheila Platt. Sheila is an experienced dragon breeder and I know that the dragons will get the love and attention they deserve. I will be working with Sheila along the way and I know that she will continue the success that Capital Dragons has had over the past few years.



Due to the business transfer, the website is temporarily down to make adjustments. In the meantime, those interested in contacting Sheila, may do so directly to her personal e-mail address at splatt1@cogeco.ca.



I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support through this hard time. The response has been overwhelming. It’s really helped to know that people respect the work I have done with bearded dragons in Canada. Thank you all!

Well, I have never heard a bad thing about you or your animals and I am plenty sure that others would agree. Sometimes things need to sit on the back burner to get other things started You enjoy that little girl of yours and when she's old enough to enjoy reptiles as much as her dad does, then you'll have the best partner ever! I agree with Julie.

Sad to hear your leaving but we all understand and hope in time a strong return. I am not into these critters but I have not heard anything bad as well so these little dragons will thrive in Sheila' s care as well.

I just wanted to say hello, and thank Tim for the kind introduction.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire the outstanding collection of dragons Tim has put together over the past few years. I know it has been difficult for him to part with the dragons, and I am very grateful to him. He has been generous with sharing his experience and continues to be a great support. I welcome him to come and visit the dragons in their new home in Peterborough, ON, anytime.

It has been a busy and exciting month adjusting to all the new dragons, and I have been having a blast.

A little about myself - I have been keeping and breeding several kinds of reptiles, including dragons, since 1997. Bearded Dragons have definitely been my passion, and I have to admit, that at the reptile shows in the previous couple of years, I always admired Tim's table with the outstanding Capital Dragons offspring and aspired to eventually have a similar collection to produce dragons as unique and awesome.

I will do my best to continue the tradition that Capital Dragons has had in the past, of providing Canadian herpers with high quality bearded dragon morphs and top notch service.

We will be at the Mississauga show on Feb 27th and I invite everybody to stop by and say hello!
