clearing of new posts??

Just wondering why, when there is over 90 members on right now there is only one page of new posts. It seems like when certain mods are on they have this urge to keep things clean and tidy or something. I personally like to look through three or four pages of new posts when I get home from work, but alas there is barely even one page. So if anyone has any ideas, i'd like to know why this happens.

Sorry, but we can't 'clear out' new posts.
The "View new posts" option goes by the time since your last visit to the site. If you only get a few posts showing, even though it's been hours or even yesterday since your last visit, then chances are somebody else visited the site during the day using your computer. If you've got ssnakess as your home page, it could be the reason.

Are you saying that we just delete stuff for fun?

Perhaps it's a glitch in the software, there are a few that we know of already...not that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to software though...

We never, EVER delete posts, with the exception of the Classifieds, which are cleared out bimonthly. Anything else is just moved, and I would estimate that no more than 1-3 threads are ever moved per day.

Thanks Hilde, I think I gotcha. I didn't think anyone was deleting them only moving them to their respective forums. Makes sense now though.

Happens to me all the time..no idea why..I think it has something to do with the fact that it is set as the homepage as well.
