question about feeding

hey guys i got a new ball on friday and i feed it last night with no problems or inticing needed i was wondering i am feeding it hopper mice but should i change to rats because i heard someone say that they prey imprint and might now eat rats later on and also they said they are better for snakes thx all.

Doesn't really happen to Ball Pythons. They seem to like rats anyways and recognize them as food no matter how long fed mice initially. I've never had a problem with it.

We have had no problem switching our BPs to rats. We prefer rats as the fuzzy rats have more meat and fat on them then a comparable sized mouse.
