Question for BRB breeders..
Just curious.. how heavy did your females get when gravid..my females about 5.5 feet long, WAS 7.5lbs before she was gravid..im weighing her this weekend to see what she is now. And also.is it possible to feel the neo's inside moving around, not totally sure how that works..
My pair bred in october..so shes about 3-4 months along. Pics of gravid females and any pointers welcomed..Thanks.
Here's a pic of mine currently, not the best for seeing her girth though.

Just because they bred in October does not mean that she's ANY time along. I've had them breed in September and not have any babies. I've had them breed once in March and have babies in August.
Not sure how much they weigh as I've never weighed mine at any point of their lives. I'm not sure what the data would even do for me so I don't bother collecting it.
As for feeling the actual babies inside a gravid Rainbow? If I grabbed my gravid Rainbow females to try that, I'd end up with a face/neck full of Rainbow teeth.

Im just trying to get an idea of how bulky she will get is all, she may not even be gravid for all I know :P. Reason I ask is because she also hasnt ate since then, and remains about the same girth (if not more). The few signs shes showing, althought havent noticed too much of a temperment change..do they all get agressive when gravid?
First time breeding these guys so I didnt know if anyone weighed theres, I know it doesnt really give you much info on how many she will have..not a factor to me, just curious on how large she will get . Guess I worded it wrong, neways.. Thanks Jeff.

They may get absolutely HUGE, but not very dense Rich. Conversely, they may now swell very noticeably at all, yet throw 15 babies. Very very strange. I've seen it all man. All you can do is follow the formula for breeding and hope they have healthy babies and that the female stays healthy after the rigours of birth. That's it. The rest is up to them.
