Egyptian Flowered Racer...info Needed

I have been offered a young male and female C. h. florulentus Egyptian Flowered Racers, I have been told that the female eats fluffs with no problem, but the smaller male can be fussy...They are very rarely kept in the UK, and I havent found much, non-existent info on them on the net..Are they kept in North America? can anyone please share any knowledge of them, I would be most gratefull, If I were to get them I would plan to breed from them as cb Flowered Snakes are unthoughoff here in Wales
I have knowledge of snakes, I keep 9 different snakes,
Beauty Snake, Dasypeltis Scabra,Trinket Snakes,Steppes Snakes, etc but have had no experience dealing with Racers, and would appreciate any knowledge that would be of help

Well then obviously no one in North America knows a thing about them, and are more interested in showing pictures of their snakes rather than sharing experiences and help

I've never heard of them. What does the "C. h." stand for in C. h. florulentus? I assume Coluber something?

Here is a thread on Kingsnake(.com) that discusses Coluber florulentus. Is that the same snake?

PS - 12h isn't a very long time. There is likely only a hundered or so people that frequent this forum and chances are none of them have dealt with the species in question. Perhaps that's why you didn't get any responses.

Common names vary from country to country, and from the searches I did, it seems very few in ANY English speaking country has much information. Not just North America.

Not only is it an uncommon snake in captivity that not many will have info about, but the big thing is the time difference. You posted at 9 a.m. my time, and I'm in the eastern region of N. America. Most of us don't have time to check the forums before going off to work or school. Most don't have the chance to check the forums during the day, and those who do probably don't have the info at their fingertips, they'd need to check something by searching or on their home computers. Our prime time for posting is about when you're ready to pack it in for the day. If you need instant answers, you'll have to post at bedtime your time, when we're all flocking to the forums for our fix.
If you're posting on a forum, please keep the time difference in mind when expecting an answer, otherwise you'll be sadly disappointed like you were this time around.

Whoa, sorry if I offended anyone, Matt_K the last thing I wanted to be is rude, and I apologise if I came across as that, I didnt realise the time difference may be a factor, i placed the query around 3pm my time and checked around 12pm, so ill bear that in mind. Thanks for the info, much more than I knew, it seems that these snakes are very uncommon, so I think I will get the young potential pair...Does anyone know of anyone that has kept them, they may have never been cb in the UK, I think the ones Im getting were cf from Egypt, not 100% mind.
