Any hardware store or Canadian Tire, Home Depot, there about $7-10. Hope this helps.

Since we're on the subject, what do they use to smooth the edges after cuts?
Razor sharp glass doesn't slide to well.

well, i'm actually cutting glass to make spider terraria, but what i've used before is wet and dry paper on a wooden block to take down the burr off the glass edges

btw, thanks retic, i'll be taking a trip to CT on Monday morning

What Peter said. Fine grit sand paper will make it silky smooth in seconds.

At the shop where i buy all my glass they use either a palm sander or a hand held belt sander to smooth out the edges and i have never had a problem with the edges.

i use a belt but not everyone has access to that.. so just normal sand paper will work...

if you do have a belt you can totally roung off the edge.... its not really needed but for the 2 sides of the slider it will look very good...

im not sure of the type at hardware stores but the ones i get from my supplier are rated for different thiknesses of glass... just go for a 6mm (1/4") that will cut 10mm and smaller... just dont apply too much pressure and adding a little bit of wd40 to the cutting wheel will make it alot easier...

its hard to get used to at first but it gets easier with pratcice... just make sure you test on scrap glass first to get the feel of it...

have you cut glass before...
