Stolen black tailed cribo in Winnipeg

Anyone watch CTV/CKY news in Winnipeg today (December 23rd)?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a link to this story anywhere, just saw it on the news, so I'll try to give a recap. Perhaps if someone can find a link to this story, maybe they can post it?

Heard a short blurb about a black tailed cribo being taken from Pet Outfitters on McPhillips. Someone walked into the store while the employees were occupied, dragged out the enclosure out of the display case and took the snake. The owner walked back in just as the thief was running out the door.

It was the only snake stolen, the owner thinks it was targeted solely for its value ($500 in store). He just wants the snake back, says he doesn't want to press charges.

Just a heads up, in case anyone sees a recently aquired black tailed cribo being sold in Winnipeg.

If anyone has any information about it, call Pet Outfitters, he's really concerned for the snake and is worried that it won't receive proper care, since it's reputed to be a difficult to care for species.

What a cold day to take a herp out side though. It was about -28C today... Damn cold!

I hope the snake is being cared for properly...
