I have nigerain uros and ornate uros and I've been searching for the perfect mali uro pair for a while. I think I've found one half of what I wanted. this one's a beauty! The colour would suggest male but the smaller femoral pores suggest female. What do you think?

I say male. Although your pic is a bit fuzzy and I can't see the whole body. Try to post a better pic of the whole animal.

I seriously had a dream last night that I bought a uro for like 2$, it was sweet.

Uros are pretty nice looking, reds are my favourite, but yellows are pretty nice. I have a friend who loves them, he owns uro-land.net actually. I personally love their prehistoric look.

awesome. Mali's are sweet! I heard that you cant tell from the pores and even by color its been known as difficult.

Funny but true, ive heard the best way is to see if they 'do it' and the one on top is the male

OMG, his colors are awesome!! I would guess a male from those colors too but my mali sexing is terrible. lol.

Going by the The colour would say Male but nothing is 100% until you see breeding behaviour!!

I wouldnt know what to go by. i have a female Uro as bright as that. Proof is she layde eggs...-Frown- But, he/she is a stunner.
