Mexican Blacks or Sinaloans
I am interested in both of these snakes but don't know which ones I would rather have more.
Could you guys give me some reasons why I should pick one over the other.
Thanks

Tough choice. Sini's are my fav popular milk and I love kings. Hmmm. Flip a coin maybe? Both are equally great choices I think. Get me both! lol

I'm torn too. Both are nice and easy to deal with. Both are easy on the eyse and pocket book. It's a really tough call...

I would say go with the Sinaloan; i've been known to be a little biased.

Why? B/c typically the babies aren't as skittish and musky as milk babies. Don't take the time into your babies, the adults won't be very nice either.
Although the colours are nice on sinaloans and I would really like a sini myself, the inky blackness on a mex blk is something else.
I say, get both, get the first pair that shows up be it sini or mex blk, then get the second pair of the other species when it shows up, unless you have both available to you at the same time.

Nice pic Katt.
Kevin: you should consider a Black Milk snake.

MBKs rule! If I were to add any other colubrids to my collection, they would be the FIRST!
Oh, how many snakes I'd still love to own... hehe

Being that the only snake I have is my new little MexBlack, I'm a tad biased, but both are beautiful snakes and great choices, so it's a tough call!
Let us know what you decide, when you do. =)

i have one of each, and they are both high on my list of faves. if i had to choose, i would probably go with mbk's just because of their beautiful irridescence (sp). personality wise, i have found both species to be very tractable, altho my experience is limited. but i especially like my sinaloan because he is so willing to hybridize (yes, i like hybrids, no hate mail please) and has never offered to cannabalize his prospective mate.
