Pueblan breeding

how big should a female be before I breed her?
I know they are supposed to be 2 yrs of age but what size is that?

That's probably around 2 ft in length and about an 1" in girth. The ones we traded would have been breedable this February and they were 2 to 21/2 ft long.

Is that about what you were asking?

They're very close.... season is Feb and March if I recall correctly, so they may be perfect, but it's risky, keep an eye on them when you place them together because as you probably already know, they are cannibalistic...

my 2 year old is a little over 30 inches and will probably be about 33 when she breeds next season for the first time

I'd wait three years for females to breed, no reason to burn them out early in their life.

18" is too small for anything to breed! Well most snake species at least
